A branded eSIM app for travellers across the GCC. Pick a country, buy a plan, activate by QR code, all in minutes and with no physical SIM. Built on FlutterFlow with a marketing website and an admin portal alongside it.

Travo is a branded eSIM app for travellers across the GCC. A user picks a country or region, chooses a data plan, pays, and activates by QR code, all in a few minutes and without a physical SIM anywhere in the process.
The brief was bigger than an app. Travo wanted a complete consumer product under their own brand, which meant mobile apps for iOS and Android, a marketing website, and an admin portal, all built together and ready to grow from there.
Buying mobile data abroad is still a hassle. You hunt for a local SIM, queue at an airport kiosk, or gamble on whatever your carrier decides to charge for roaming. Every one of those options costs time at exactly the point in a trip where nobody has any to spare.
The second problem was the launch itself. A consumer product like this does not work if the app arrives first and the website, the admin tooling, and the marketing plumbing follow months later. All of it had to be ready together, with marketing able to run from the first day.
Aumadi delivered the full stack, the iOS and Android apps, the web admin portal, and the public website.
FlutterFlow carried both platforms from a single codebase, with Supabase behind it for data and auth. Live plan data and instant eSIM provisioning run through an API integration, so a user moves from browsing to connected in minutes. Stripe handles payments across both platforms.
The experience was designed to make buying data abroad feel effortless. Plans are browsable by country and by region, activation is a single QR scan, and a My eSIMs view lets travellers track their own usage and expiry without contacting anyone. The growth tooling mattered just as much, so deep linking, Meta and Google analytics, and push notifications were all in place before launch rather than retrofitted afterwards.
Discovery and planning. We scoped a launch rather than an app. Mobile, admin, and website were planned together, and we mapped how plan data and provisioning would flow into a clean buying journey before any of it was built. Referral and rewards were parked for a second phase so the first release could stay tight.
Design. The design had to make a potentially fiddly task feel simple. Browsing by country or region, clear plan cards, and an activation flow with nothing extra in it meant a first-time user could get connected without second-guessing a single step.
Development. FlutterFlow carried the apps across iOS and Android, with Supabase as the backend. We built plan discovery, Stripe purchases, QR activation, and the My eSIMs management view with usage and expiry. The marketing layer of deep linking and analytics went in alongside it, and the web admin portal and the public website were built in parallel.
Testing. We tested the flows the product lives or dies on: browsing, paying, activating, and managing a plan, across both platforms, with particular attention to making that first purchase feel reliable.
Launch. Travo shipped to the App Store with the marketing website and the admin portal live behind it. The Android build is finished and waiting on its Play Store release.
The outcome. Travo is live on the App Store under its own brand, and the early response to the buying and activation experience has been positive. The full stack of apps, website, and admin is in place, with referral and rewards lined up for the next phase.
No more queuing for a SIM card. With Travo, the moment you land, you are already online.
